Since the earliest days of digital, we’ve had one mission: the best solutions to your communications challenges
In the late 1980s, digital communications and networks were still in their infancy, and few standard installation practices existed for hardware, interconnecting methods, cabling and connectivity. End users needed a reliable designer/installer with knowledge and experience to deliver turn-key installation.
To answer that need, Seacom was born in 1987 with a simple approach … know the technology, listen to the client, deliver a system that fits their needs, and provide total customer satisfaction. We’ve grown and added services since then, but that remains our mission.
Before we can build a system, our in-house computer-aided design (CAD) department creates complete electronic and hard copy drawings, including equipment closets, rack and hardware layouts, cable paths, termination locations and identification numbers.
The DWG and PDF drawings are linked to our work order system, where they are easily retrieved to record adds, moves and changes. At the completion of a job, you’ll receive a complete set of the latest drawings and other documents for your reference.
Two of our staff members are Registered Communications Distribution Designers (RCDD), certified by Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI), and they’ve achieved the highest level of design expertise.
Seacom maintains a fleet of service vehicles, and provides after-hours emergency assistance to our customers. Our technicians are manufacturer-trained in installation and repair work, and can handle any job with professionalism to keep your communications up and running at all times.
